I'm so excited!

I just booked our tickets for our vacation this summer to........

drumroll please.........

GREECE and TURKEY!!!!

Woot woot! I am sooooo excited not only to go there, but because thanks to SkyMiles, the tickets cost us a whopping $75!

I can't wait for the turquoise Mediterannean, lots of delicious food (seriously, I am going to eat my way through both of those places), amazing scenery, and ten whole days in a row with my hubby. We're going to have a blast. We're flying into Athens and out of Istanbul, but we have no itinerary for the in between yet. If you've been there before and have any recommendations, please let me know!

sounds a-mazing!! i hear fabulous things about BOTH places and they are on my to-go places too!! just watch out for those turkish and greek men who will do harmless flirting all day on the streets just walking by (from what i hear it's just as ridiculous as visiting italy and italian men). hahahha!

I am so jealous! My mom studied abroad in Greece and I would LOVE to go visit there. My grandmother went to Turkey last year and had a wonderful time, I will ask here where she went and let you know!

Thanks ladies! And, yes, thanks to a SkyMiles credit card and work travel pretty much exclusively on Delta, I had over 200,000 SkyMiles and I'd already redeemed probably close to that amount in awards tickets before. :)

Yes, the men are crazy. They really LOVE blondes..I think b/c a lot of the women there have dark hair. Good luck with that. ;)
