I'm not very into Valentine's Day. I don't need a holiday to tell my husband how much I love him, but I do think it's a fun holiday. We've spent it in different ways over the years... last year I made a dinner that was so freaking expensive, we should've just gone out (it was really good though). We went to South City Kitchen two years ago, and I don't think we really celebrated the year before that, because Matt was still in Jacksonville. We had just started dating seriously for V-day 2005, and I really have no clue what we did.
But, this year takes the cake. This year's Valentine's Day will be spent with a few hundred others at the Variety Playhouse enjoying this man.

That would be Robert Earl Keen. You may know him as the Texas singer/songwriter behind the classic songs "Copenhagen" and "The Everclear Song"... swoon. He has some great music, and he's been a staple on college campuses for over 20 years. I know I'm not in college anymore, but tomorrow night I just might act like it.
For our Valentine's Day meal, we're going to try to go to The Vortex for a delicious burger and some tots. Yum.
So, how are you and your lover spending your Valentine's Day?

Um I'm not really sure what could be more romantic than spending 3 hours at a breastfeeding class together...I'm sure it will make Matt fall in love with me all over again :)
