Need your prayers

Please pray for my best friend, Jenn's, baby boy Davis.  He has been in the hospital being treated for bacterial meningitis for 11 days (since he was 6 days old).  Things were looking good, and then they took a turn for the worse.  Maybe Wednesday or Thursday, the test came back positive for enterovirus, but the doctors still thought he may have bacterial meningitis because of the numbers, so they (thankfully) kept him to keep treating him prophylatically (not too much you can do for viral).  Long story short, he started having cardiovascular and respiratory issues on Friday night, because the virus started attacking his heart.  He's had to go through a host of tests and go on even more drugs to help his heart function.  They need to stop and reverse the damage.  Since they began treatment, he has not gotten worse but they have only seen a little improvement.  The doctor is encouraged, but it's not as much improvement as they'd hope to see.
I know that God is the ultimate Healer and that He can do anything.  I am praying to Him for full healing of Davis and strength, hope and faith for his parents, family and friends.  I believe God will heal Davis and that he will have an amazing testimony to share about the prayers and love poured out for him and his family at the beginning of his life.

Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.
-Mark 11:24

Oh, that poor family. I've seen stuff like this before and it is so hard. He'll be on my prayer list- AND the parents who must be a mess. I know I would be, even with all my medical knowledge.

I'm crying reading this. I know that God has the power to heal and will join with you in prayer that Davis will recover and his family will have strength and peace during this time! Much love to Jenn and her family.

I was wondering how he was doing. I've been waiting for Jenn to post again. I will definitely say a prayer for healing and comfort.
