Snow, Snow, Go Away

It's snowing (okay, flurrying) in Atlanta. Schools closed early. Everyone is going to panic! No bread, milk or batteries at the grocery store. Long lines at the gas station. Pandemonium!

P.S. My cousin Amy and any of the rest of you in the northern parts of the country are laughing right now... I mean, we might get an inch of accumulation if anything, but I am not kidding. People FREAK OUT when it snows here. I'm a native Floridian but I don't even freak out about it because I am a RATIONAL HUMAN BEING! :)

We got two feet the other day in NH but I go to school in New Orleans and last year it snowed and everyone was freaking out! For some reason, this frenzy of snow created car accidents and closing of schools...I think there was an inch, maybe.

The native Baltimorean in me has to laugh a little at this, but the saddest part is - they were CALLING for flurries here tonight (forget the fact it hit 50 today) and people are behaving the same way. Redic!!

So true. Every grocery store that I've seen today has been slammed!

I do have to laugh a little... but hey, if we got a hurricane or tornado warning or anything that was out of the "norm" here, I'm sure it would be the same. Hope you're warm and cozy!
